Absolute Uninstaller reviews 11Write a Review
A small program with good capabilities.
This is an interesting program with large functionality. I like its friendly-use, that i didn't have to learn the help documentation or watch video tutorials: just look at its main window to see all its features. it's a simple and easy-to-use program what allows bulk deletion and I like it, but there are downsides. The program was unable to remove the annoying Yandex Browser. I tried to remove it the usual way but failed. So, I was hoping this program could do this because it was specifically designed to remove, but it has not happened.
- Uninstalling Windows Updates
- Different ways to sort the list of programs
- Сould not remove browser
- It set a game portal shortcut
Good batch-uninstalled program
After using Absolute Uninstaller I may say that highly discourage this program because of inability to control its functions. I think that the Uninstaller should work properly and delete only the programs and files that I need to delete and any deviation from that rule earns no more than a disaster. Perhaps it could better in other operating systems, but it didn`t work well in my Windows 7. If you`re looking for selective batch uninstalling, I`m not recommending Absolute Uninstaller.
- Uninstalled a batch of programs quite thoroughly
- Uninstall programs that were not checked and without permission
Easy replaces a Windows Uninstaller
I tried the Absolute Uninstaller for a while now and may say that it is good software that`s doing its job pretty well; at least it coped with all my requests. I like this program because it has a batch mode that is pretty useful and save a lot of time, because I didn`t need to delete every file manually. I just needed to putt a check in the list of software to get rid of and press the button. I like Absolute Uninstaller, very easy and convenient program.
- Batch removes
- Can be slow
I have used Absolute Uninstaller for a while and may say that it`s pretty fast and easy to use, but at the same time suffer from many bugs. In my experience in the process of deleting a batch of programs, it either locks up or just stops uninstalling. Moreover, after its restart I no more have an ability to it clean the registry of the programs it removed before locking up. For this reason I can`t rank it 5 or 4 stars.
- Fast and easy
- A lot of bags
Right after the installation of Absolute Uninstaller I`m already being pleasantly surprised, because there are no additional programs packaged with Absolute software that I was needed to worry about. Also, I think you will be pretty surprised as I was when finding out about all the opportunities that Absolute provide. Personally, I noticed such benefits as batch uninstall, searching function, restoring removed entries and more. During the removed process I have also noticed that the sizes of the programs aren`t visible and I can`t sort them by size either. But its ok, for me, it`s not a flaw. So, if you were looking for a good alternative to Windows Uninstaller, Absolute Uninstaller is exactly what you need.
- Good remove ability
- Not amenable to adjustment
Absolute Uninstaller is good software that works properly and easily can delete the files that can be left behind even after the regular uninstall. I like it, because with Absolute I can remove a balk batch of files and programs at once by checking off every application or anything that needed to be deleted and I don`t need to waste time to delete each and any object separately.
- Batch uninstall
- Slow at times
Isn`t perfect but easy to use
I have tested Absolute Uninstaller with other Uninstallers and might say something about it. The first thing that I like about Absolute is that it`s really well designed. I like that the program has a friendly user interface without any unnecessary buttons and options, it makes the Uninstaller much easier to use. Also the software has a batch removal feature and it also makes the Absolute Uninstaller great alternative to the standard Uninstaller tool in Windows. Also, I like that Absolute Uninstaller allows to save all the uninstall information to a REG file and create a backup file. But, I noticed such Absolute disadvantages in comparison with others Uninstallers as batch uninstall feature works worse than alternatives and no search function.
- Batch removal feature
- A little bit slow and no search function
As good as Revo but easier
I have started using Absolute Uninstaller instead Revo because it aims just to do its work without other tools that I didn't want. The Uninstaller is pretty quick and simple to use. I didn`t need to tick all the registry items to remove and after then tick files to remove. But, I have noticed that the software is identical to the "Uninstall Manager" included with Glary Utilities, so if you have the last one Absolute Uninstaller.
- Simple to use
- May leave some files behind
Not very wise
I`m not satisfied with Absolute Uninstaller work and the ability to do not execute commands. The program arbitrarily installed the "Ask" search engine toolbar after I refused from it and didn't find Google Chrome for some reason. Also the Absolute Uninstaller displays not only the main program that needed to be deleted, but also the program's uninstaller utility as a separate program, I don`t think that is right to call Absolute Uninstaller user-friendly.
- Easy to use and simple interface
- Miss the programs even with the search option
Much better than standard uninstallers
I have been testing the Absolute Uninstaller for a while and may say that it`s not bad at all. The software doesn`t have any of an unnecessary buttons, functions or options that would slow down the process of deleting and I may also say that it`s very easy to use. Also, it does a better job than using the standard Windows uninstaller. I`m satisfied with it, Absolute Uninstaller allowed me to backup the uninstall process, restore it, batch file uninstall and more. So, if you`re searching for the decent, user-friendly Uninstaller that doesn't have anything extra, this would be the one.
- Easy to use
- No search option
Doesn`t clean properly
The Absolute Uninstaller absolutely doesn`t worth time and effort. Using it for a while I noticed that the Uninstaller doesn`t work properly in Windows 7 and often missed leftover folders. Now I more often using the standard Windows Uninstaller more than Absolute and don`t recommend the last one for you.
- Slightly better than Windows Uninstall
- Acts buggy and doesn't catch all leftover folders
