Obviously, Revo is better than Geek
I don't recommend Geek Uninstaller to general use. I didn't find options to automatically remove registry and folder contents. Maybe I missed it, I'm sorry. I tried to use the free version of Geek Uninstaller. I'm also using Revo uninstaller and you can trust me, Geek Uninstaller seems seriously clunky in comparing with Revo Uninstaller.
- Easy using
- Free version hasn't options to automatically remove registry and content folders
The "Forced Removal" function effectively helps to get rid of unwanted leftovers.
In the latest version of the program, it was a lot of pop-up advertising so I was irritated. But a new version hasn't that problem. I'm satisfied with Geek Uninstaller's "forced removal" function that is available in the free version, so nice. It's really deeply, effectively scanning and removing leftover remained after programs deleting. The feature hasn't a bad influence on my system performance, it provides only positive results.
- Effective scanning and uninstalling in the free version
- Pop-up advertising
Geek Uninstaller is better than Revo & Iobit Uninstallers
I had experiences of using Revo uninstaller and IoBIT Uninstaller. But these programs didn't satisfy me completely, because Revo didn't show me all my programs to uninstall and Iobit uninstalled to much from my system so it arose some conflicts between programs. But Geek Uninstaller hasn't any of this problem. Such a good job.
- Good work
- Cons absence
It's no need to install the program to the PC
I mostly appreciate the portability of the Geek Uninstaller. You aren't must install the program to your PC, you can also keep it on a flash drive. And it's so comfortable thing. Moreover, it removes all trash from my PC quickly and efficiently. And at addition, all of these things you can do being free.
- The portability of the Geek Uninstaller
- Not enough features in the free version
After uninstalling records continue staying at the Windows/Manifest
I can't assert that Geek Uninstaller is a good program, furthermore, I don't recommend it. Okay, it scans and uninstalls unwanted programs, leftovers, but their records continue staying at the Windows/Manifest. And they aren't recognized. That's telling us Geek Uninstaller isn't effective enough. I'll search for other uninstallers.
- Worthy as for the free version
- Uninstalling isn't effective enough
Good program, but I got crash for my settings
Once I tried to use Geek Uninstaller and got some problems for my system. It was a few years ago and maybe I remember details about that a bit sketchy, but there is one of them I'm sure of. I always create shortcuts by category in my Start Menu. And after using Geek Uninstaller to uninstall a single program, it was wiped all of these settings. Maybe I wasn't completely attentive and missed some settings to avoid this issue, but I can't say that I was satisfied with default settings there. I still keep several copies of GeekUninstaller, but if I'll want to run it, I'll turn off my real-time syncing tasks and update my backups.
- Nice uninstalling
- Hasn't restore point
Excellent uninstaller to effective uninstall unwanted programs
I'm a user of Geek Uninstaller for some period of time and I'm really sure that it is the best uninstaller. It is so quick and simple. Geek Uninstaller has an excellent function of forced uninstalling that is useful for removing programs that Windows or other programs don't want to remove. But for checking all of the leftovers I use PsExec Regedit.
- Good uninstalling of unwanted apps
- Isn't enough effective in leftovers removing
Geek Uninstaller manages both 32 and 64-bit applications
Actually, I'm satisfied with GeekUninstaller. The user interface is really understandable and easy. It hasn't superfluous things. Also scanning and removing are fast. Finally, I've found the program that gives me an opportunity to manage both my 32 and 64-bit applications.
- Excellent UI and fast work
- I can't notice any cons
I think GeekUninstaller is a very useful tool
I read a lot of negative feedbacks about Geek Uninstaller, and I really don't understand where do they come from. I think, most of them are exaggerated. I guess that Geek Uninstaller is very simple to use the program and performs more than enough. Who will refuse from the registry cleaning function after uninstalling? Excellent feature. But everyone should understand that absolutely full cleaning of the registry is impossible. I offer to use system tools for uninstalling if you get some issues.
- Simple to use
- Cleaning registry from leftovers isn't absolutely full
I appreciate Geek Uninstaller for its fast start and pretty interface
To my mind, Total Uninstaller is better than Geek Uninstaller. I don't want to explain why. But I'm using Geek Uninstaller too. I like this program for its fast start and easy, pretty user interface. It's so important haven't waste of time on the illegible text, complicated interface, terrible combinations of color, etc..I still use 18.104.22.168 version, and I don't want to upgrade it because it is a lot of advertising at the new versions.
- Good UI and fast start
- It could be more effective
Geek Uninstaller helped me so much
Once I'd installed together with the right program a lot of unwanted programs. And one of them was integrated into my system and banned itself for uninstalling so I couldn't remove it. As a result, I was suffering about a big amount of advertising and continuously opening of unwanted tabs. But Geek Uninstaller solved my problem. Thanks to its function of forced removal I got rid of the waste. Moreover, it's great that the program is multilingual so it's very comfortable. Also, it has a very lightweight, only 7 Mb. Yes, the free version of Geek Uninstaller hasn't many features, but if you want it, you can buy Pro version. However, I think that the free version is more than enough for an average user.
- Excellent work and multilingual interface
- Available only for Windows platform
The best uninstaller
I adore this product. Geek uninstaller has made my life easier, my system is completely clean. I can compare Geek uninstaller to Revo, so Geek is the best. Revo doesn't fill the uninstall list. Geek Uninstaller is more simple to use. It's a very useful product for me because I really often install and uninstall programs.
- Simple to use
- I can't notice any cons
I'm a regular user of Geek, Revo and IoBit uninstallers. I use them together because of their functions difference
Hi there! I usually use Revo, Geek and Iobit uninstallers. I noticed Geek and Iobit can detect things that Revo can't. Also, they offer some different functions, so for more efficient safety, I use all three uninstallers. Thanks for this, I have more control about my installs. I recommend setting them in default mode and be careful while uninstalling.
- Good uninstaller
- needs more functions
GeekUninstaller lost to Revo and Total
I tried to test Geek Uninstaller in the following way. I was installing a typical program then I was running it and then I was uninstalling it. This process I was repeating three times with Geek Uninstaller, Revo Uninstaller, and Total Uninstaller in accordance. As a result of an experiment Total Uninstaller won, because it found the most leftovers. Revo Uninstaller was a close second. And Geek Uninstaller found only two leftovers that were the smallest result. Moreover, the Geek's interface is outdated and very minimal. Obviously, There no any reason to choose Geek instead of Revo or Total. Total Uninstall is shareware and worth the price. Revo Uninstaller is free and also has a portable version as a Geek.
- So easy interface
- Outdated interface, doesn't enough find leftovers
